Noel has uncovered a reel of World War Two memories about a dance at the Dover Town Hall. It may just be an audio recording, but it’s still a very important snapshot of history. And of course, they’re remembering all sorts – from Smiths Crisps through Flexidiscs and ‘When It Comes to the Crunch’, to jukeboxes that played feature film snippets. They were just a shilling a go!
