❉ This week: Two young black British males share their life experiences, including the highs and the lows, and cover a variety of topics.
So many podcasts, so little time. We’re big fans of podcasts here at We Are Cult, and we’re always looking for more shows to subscribe to. So if you’re looking for ear candy, we’re here to help!
Each week we profile must-hear podcasts by giving podcast creators a platform to tell us about their shows in their own words.
This week: Anton and Ola tell us all about Tag Me In Podcast, a podcast all about inspiring people and aiding them through life!
What’s your podcast about?
A podcast hosted by two young black British males Anton and Ola, we are all about being the best version of you and self-improvement, on this podcast we discuss and have open discussions about our own personal journeys including the highs and the lows.
If you had to describe your show in 10 words or less, what would you say?
A Informative yet hilarious podcast, exploring serious topics.
Which episode would you recommend for a first-time listener? Do you have a favourite episode?
Dealing with conflict episode, specifically because we hadn’t discussed the content of the episode beforehand, so not only was the recording raw and emotional but it was in-front of our podcast network.

What inspired you to create this podcast?
The podcast came from a stag do in Prague; 10 guys, deep and relentless discussions and we would tag a guy in if he wanted to speak next. The conversations evolved around many topics that men find themselves discussing from women and relationships to careers.
Which guests have you had on your podcast so far?
We have had some amazing guest ranging from life coaches –Amit Dhunnoo, Carl Konadu, male nannys – Joss Simmons, Social Media Consultants – Joyann Boyce, and many more
Who would be your dream guest?
A dream guest would be Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua, as an individual who had a challenging past but overcame these to become a champion. An advocate of hard work and continuous improvement, we think an insight into his mindset would benefit our audience.
Which equipment do you use for your podcast set-up?
We use a Blue Yeti to record our podcast, and complete our editing on Garageband or Audacity (Depends who is editing)
What would you say is the best length of time for a podcast episode?
From our experience the 40 minute mark hits the sweet spot, however more education podcasts can exceed this and keep it’s audience engaged.
Which podcasts (other than yours) would you recommend we listen to?
The Tim Ferris Show is a must, he has amazing and insightful guest and somehow knows how to ask the right questions.
Where is your podcast available to listen to?
All the major podcast platform,Apple Podcast, Google Podcast, Soundcloud, Stitcher and more.
What is the future of podcasting as a creative medium?
We are not entirely sure where it goes from here, maybe a search engine that finds the best podcasts for you? Podcasts will be more centralised, sponsorships for podcasts and live shows, its like the TV industry and people wanting things on demand.
