❉ Madfish Music present a limited edition vinyl Box Set celebrating the brilliance of Laura Nyro.
“I idolized her. This is music so far ahead of its time that still sounds so unbelievable. The soul, the passion, just the out-and-out audacity of the way her rhythmic and melodic changes came, was like nothing I’d heard before. She influenced more songwriters that came out – successful songwriters – than probably anyone who came before her.” – Elton John.
The exceptional body of work recorded between 1967 and 1978, by the prodigiously talented Brooklyn born singer/songwriter/pianist Laura Nyro is celebrated with the 30th July release of ‘American Dreamer’, a limited edition customised 8 LP vinyl Box Set made available by Madfish Music.
