‘The Scarifyers: The King of Winter’ BBC Radio 4 Extra Debut!

❉ A rip-roaring tale of supernatural intrigue starring David Warner starts on BBC Radio 4 Extra this coming Saturday.

Saving Great Britain since 1936, MI-13’s Harry Crow (David Warner) and Professor Dunning (Terry Molloy) find themselves pitted against their greatest foe yet… THE KING OF WINTER.

Written by Simon Barnard and Paul Morris, ‘The King of Winter’ is the ninth and latest instalment in the cult comedy sci-fi series ‘The Scarifyers’. It was originally released by Bafflegab Productions in October 2014, and this Saturday it makes its broadcast debut  on BBC Radio 4 Extra, where you can hear it at 6pm. ‘The King of Winter’ will be broadcast in four parts.

Set in 1936 and 1937, ‘The Scarifyers’ made their audio debut in 2009, with Terry Molloy as Ghost story writer Professor Dunning and Nicholas Courtney as the Metropolitan Police’s longest-serving officer, Inspector Lionheart. After the passing of Nicholas Courtney, Molloy was teamed up with the legendary David Warner (Tron, Time Bandits, The Omen, From Beyond The Grave) as Harry ‘Thumper’ Crow. Guest stars have included Brian Blessed, Nigel Havers, Leslie Phillips, Stephen Thorne and Philip Madoc.
