The new video for B-side remix track ‘Origins #5 (Pelso Mix)’ has dropped from Geiger von Muller’s lab of experiments. It strays from this artist’s usual astral design programme, presenting a pleasant no-specific-meaning-whatsoever-but-looks-cool-anyway cinematographic direction. This surrealism is befitting the remix itself, which has a kind of acid jazz vibe about it, while some of the amorphous guitar sound-tweaks push the mix way beyond that, towards more abnormal realms.

London based avant slide guitarist Geiger von Müller blends the old school acoustic Delta with more interstellar sonic textures. His visuals often feature retro sci-fi themes, leaning into preternatural 3D animations or 80’s kids-dream Lego Space builds. He has collaborated with electro-experimental-noise remixers and producers extensively, from New Orleans to Manchester.
His latest album is “Slide Sonatas II,” which includes the track “Origins #5,” an acoustic original later remixed by fellow Londoner Pelso. Recent music videos of his include the A-side “Alien Fig Yogurt Incident”, as premiered on We Are Cult around New Year’s Day.
