Lola Dutronic announce new single “My Name Is Lola”

❉ Ich bin Lola!

Richard Citroen & Stephanie B., a.k.a. Lola Dutronic, the Toronto/Dusseldorf-based Electro-Pop Duo are pleased to announce the release of their latest single My Name Is Lola, out now on iTunes & Bandcamp:

“Our 3rd single this year, following “Everybody Loves You When You’re Dead (The Sequel)” and “Male Stripper” (with Man2Man), “My Name Is Lola” is a love letter to our favourite city in the world…Berlin.

“Musically, a bit of a departure from our usual “Wall Of Sound” approach, we’ve taken on some of Alle Farben & Robin Schulz’s colours. Lyrically, we had originally planned to record it in Stephanie’s native German language, but translating Richard’s English lyrics proved to be unworkable, so we left them alone, although we did manage to include German shout-outs to all our favourite Berlin haunts!

“Except for Berghain, obviously. We couldn’t get in either…”
