❉ L.A.-based synthpop trio returns with second single from forthcoming album, ‘The Haunting of Us’.

Los Angeles based dark synthpop trio BlakLight returns with a brooding new single, ‘Buried Alive’, set for release on June 6, 2025. The track marks the second glimpse into their highly anticipated upcoming album, ‘The Haunting of Us’, arriving this fall.
Driven by pulsing synths, cinematic textures and emotionally raw vocals, ‘Buried Alive’ explores the suffocating weight of obsession and the slow unravelling of the self. With haunting lyrics like “This obsession is keeping me buried alive” and “For you I bleed eternally”, the song encapsulates a descent into emotional darkness with BlakLight’s signature blend of beauty and despair.
The release includes two atmospheric instrumental tracks, ‘One Last Time’ and ‘Erase Me’, along with a reimagined ‘Axe Mix’ of the title track, that delves even deeper into the track’s darker sonic elements.
‘Buried Alive’ will be available on Bandcamp and all major streaming platforms on June 6, 2025. Stay tuned for more updates as ‘The Haunting of Us’ draws near.
