ARROW’s May Lineup Debuts Steppenwolf

❉ Streaming exclusively on ARROW this May, Adilkhan Yerzhanov’s award-winning revenge thriller.

Things are really hotting up on ARROW this May, with an award-laden revenge thriller, a beautifully restored, unjustly neglected Corey Feldman comedy chiller in 4K, a wild and crazy comedy unlike anything you’ve seen, Linnea Quigley and Ginger Lynn Allen in a crazy cop caper series, gruesome and ghastly horrors, Blumhouse director Paul Davis choosing from the ARROW library, and much, much more.

The relentless revenge thriller STEPPENWOLF streaming exclusively on ARROW

May kicks off with Steppenwolf, exclusively on ARROW in the UK, a brutal story of an unlikely duo who will stop at nothing to find what they are looking for in Adilkhan Yerzhanov’s film, winner of the Golden Raven Grand Prix at the 2024 Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival and the Outstanding Performance Award at the 2024 Fantasia Film Festival. The latest film from Yerzhanov (Cannes-selected The Gentle Indifference of the World and Venice-selected Goliath), and Oscar-nominated producer Alexander Rodnyansky (Leviathan) is “a must-see for fans of ultra-violent, vicious and unforgiving revenge films” (Gary Gamble, Moviehooker).

Cory Feldman fans are in for a real treat in May, with The Goonies legend starring in a rediscovered and newly restored cult gem, the comedy chiller The Birthday, showing in sparkling 4K on ARROW. Highly praised by Get Out writer/director Jordan Peele who championed the film, and featuring a lead performance from Feldman that The Guardian describes as “genuinely great”, this is a chance for you to celebrate a neglected masterwork in all its quirky glory.

Don’t miss the outrageous and hilarious Butt Boy that Slashfilm describes as an “exceptionally entertaining and weird film that defies every expectation”. Featuring a winning performance from Tyler Rice as an alcoholic cop investigating a very mysterious disappearance, writer/director/star Tyler Cornack’s bonkers film has to be seen to be believed – and you can watch it on ARROW in May.

If horror’s your bag then look no further than the Tunisian witchcraft horror Dachra, a truly chilling ride based on real events; writer/director James Sizemore’s The Demon’s Rook, a hugely enjoyable and extremely gory trip into another world; and 2020’s Castle Freak, based on the story by horror legend H.P.Lovecraft.

Also streaming in May, all six of the rude and raucous Vice Academy films (‘where nice girls become vice girls’), directed by Rick Sloane (Hobgoblins) and featuring the likes of scream queens Linnea Quigley (Return of the Living Dead) and Ginger Lynn Allen (Buried Alive).
