Blake’s 7 continues to be one of Big Finish’s most popular ranges, with fans of the original late 1970s BBC television series enjoying many of the TV actors returning to their roles. In Heroes & Villains, due for release in April 2022, resistance rebels Jenna and Cally return by popular demand to The Worlds of Blake’s 7. Sally Knyvette and Jan Chappell star in three new adventures that pit them against a number of the notorious rogues and criminals we’ve encountered before.
Matthew Gravelle (The Widow, Broadchurch) leads the guest cast as the charming but dangerous Dorian (previously seen meeting his end in the TV episode, Rescue). Tania Rodrigues (Coronation Street) plays Mandala, Queen of the untrustworthy Amagons, the pirates who threatened the Liberator in Bounty. And Nigel Betts (Boy Meets Girl, Outlander) voices Shrinker, the infamous Federation interrogator and torturer who was a menacing presence in the classic Rumours of Death.
