The brand-new restored version of Neil Marshall’s wickedly wild werewolf feature Dog Soldiers gets a big screen outing at FrightFest 2022 the UK’s premiere fantasy and horror film festival on 28 August and the director is in attendance too. Tickets and info here 

This follows the Limited Edition 4K UHD/Blu-ray andStandard Edition 4K UHD and Blu-ray single releases courtesy of Second Sight Films next Monday (22 August 2022).

A group of soldiers, in the Scottish Highlands on a special training expedition, encounters a seriously injured Captain Richard Ryan – the only survivor of a Special Ops squad that was torn to pieces. Ryan refuses to disclose his mission, even though it is apparent that whatever attacked his men was incredibly vicious and extremely dangerous. A local girl, Megan, shelters the men in an isolated farmhouse deep in the woods. The soldiers soon realize that they are surrounded by a pack of blood-lusting werewolves, and that they are about to face the fight of their lives…

The highly anticipated box set arrives on 22 August 2022 and includes a new 4K restoration from the original camera negative approved by the director himself and Sam McCurdy the director of photography. The Limited Edition comes in a rigid slipcase with brand-new artwork by Chris Malbon and a 108-page book with new essays.
