‘Deadly Dangerous Tomorrow’ available now!

❉ A second chance to read six missing episodes from cult TV classic Doomwatch.

A new imprint devoted to the story of lost or forgotten classic television series gives readers a second chance to read DEADLY DANGEROUS TOMORROROW – six missing episodes from the legendary BBC drama series DOOMWATCH.

SATURDAY MORNING PRESS’s inaugural publication is a new edition of a book first published by MIWK Publishing back in 2012 and has been much requested since.

Doomwatch (1970-2) was BBC1’s chillingly prophetic series about how scientific progress could go horribly wrong if left unchecked or succumbed to political or industrial pressure.

The episodes are:

• SPECTRE AT THE FEAST & FIRE AND BRIMSTONE by series producer TERENCE DUDLEY.

• HIGH MOUNTAIN, SAY KNIFE, FAT MAN, & DEADLY DANGEROUS TOMORROW by MARTIN WORTH.

• FLOOD by IAN CURTEIS

And exclusively for this book – a script that was never made, written by KEITH DEWHURST.

This revised edition has been edited by MICHAEL SEELY, a long time Doomwatch fan and TV historian, who has written books on the subject and a biography of its co-creator Dr Kit Pedler, known to Doctor Who fans as creator of the Cybermen.

The stunning cover is the work of Rob Hammond, and the logo has been designed by Jay Gent Creative.

The book is available NOW from SMP’s online store.

The next title from SATURDAY MORNING PRESS will investigate the extraordinary story of a twice weekly serial (or ‘soap’) from 1964 which tried to be different – and caused panic within the BBC when the religious morality campaigners attacked…  TASTE AND DECENCY – THE SWIZZLEWICK STORY
