An official collaboration with Studiocanal & Renown Pictures, Art & Hue has reimagined the original film posters to create stylish pop art prints, available in three sizes and 23 colour options.
A stylish way to bring the heady days of coffee bars and spinning vinyl into the home, the collection features Art & Hue’s signature halftone style (halftone is an age-old technique that uses dots to make up the printed image, similar to newspapers or comic books).
The rebellious “Beat Girl” features John Barry’s first ever film soundtrack, several years before he created the iconic sound of the James Bond films, whilst “Mods & Rockers” is the Western Theatre Ballet’s contemporary dance show set to music written by The Beatles.
“What a Crazy World” with Joe Brown, “Every Day’s a Holiday” filmed at Butlin’s holiday camp, and “Some People” set in Bristol all get the pop art treatment as does “Live It Up”, the Joe Meek musical starring David Hemmings and Steve Marriott of The Small Faces.
Exclusively by Art & Hue, all pop art prints are printed on museum-quality archival card of 310gsm, made from 100% cotton, using fine art pigment inks which last hundreds of years.
