Video Premiere: Aire and Angels – ‘Sunny Day’

Announcing a new music project from ‘Decades’ co-creator David Palfreyman.

Aire and Angels is a music project formulated by songwriter David Palfreyman, who brings together various singers to feature on a variety of songs.

Together with producer/engineer Ian Caple (Tindersticks, Suede, Tricky, Kate Bush) and comprising key musicians including David Clayton (Simply Red/George Michael), Chris Musto (Johnny Thunders/Glen Matlock/Joe Strummer) Dan Mckinna (Tindersticks), Greg Hart (Cats in Space) and Rodger Hanna (Decades) the songs have been performed by unique and accomplished vocalists. Emily Capell, Jesse Smith, Allegra Shock and Sarah Jane Morris (best known for singing Don’t Leave Me This Way with The Communards) all feature here.

The first Aire and Angels single released will be the upbeat, feelgood song Sunny Day featuring the remarkable vocals of Emily Capell. Emily is just about to release her debut album Combat Frock on October 4th and is due to go on tour in the autumn with Ska legends The Selector.

David Palfreyman is the songwriter for the acclaimed double album Decades which features both actors and musicians against the backdrop of a rites of passage story of an old celebrity called Kelver Leash.
