Talking Pictures TV are delighted to announce the channel premiere of S is for Stanley, a revealing documentary about Stanley Kubrick, showing on Friday 21st February, at 9:40am.
The award winning documentary depicting the fascinating relationship between Stanley Kubrick and Emilio D’Alessandro, the director’s assistant and chauffeur, explores the unlikely bond of friendship that formed between these two outwardly opposite men, spanning four cinema masterpieces, and in so doing reveals insights into the mind and soul of a creative genius.
In April 2016, S is for Stanley won “Best Documentary (Miglior Documentario di Lungometraggio)” at the Italian David di Donatello Awards.
