Silhouettes and Shadows: David Bowie Remembered

✻ Brixton based Photofusion is collaborating with photography collective Rockarchive to produce a free exhibition dedicated to the memory of David Bowie.

The Photofusion Photography Studio in Brixton is holding an exhibition of prints and images spanning David Bowie’s career and includes works by acclaimed music photographers Ray Stevenson, Fernando Aceves, Mark Mawston, and Steve Rapport, some of which have not been exhibited before in the UK.

The prints in the exhibition showcase Bowies early career in Beckenham in the late 1960s, the rise of Ziggy Stardust and his changing personas in the decades that follow, through to one of his final live performances in 2003. Whilst the images capture his innovative and uncompromising musical genius, accompanying anecdotes and recollections by the photographers reveal the more personal and unique relationships they had with him.

The exhibition runs until 26 October at Photofusion, 17A Electric Lane, Brixton, London SW9 8LA between 11am and 5pm Monday to Saturday.
