Podcast of the Week: Politics With Dummies

❉ This week: “A light show about heavy topics.”

We’re big fans of podcasts here at We Are Cult, and we’re always looking for more shows to subscribe to. So if you’re looking for ear candy, we’re here to help!

This week: Politics With Dummies, “Two dummies discussing politics, current events, and other stuff they know nothing about”.

If you had to describe your show in 10 words or less, what would you say?

A light show about heavy topics.

Which episode would you recommend for a first-time listener? Do you have a favourite episode?

Because we are topical, I would recommend the most recent episode. With that said, I like Episode 17 “Uncle Tomas”

What inspired you to create this podcast?

I thought it would be fun to debate my friend on topics that we disagree so deeply on in a public, open forum.

Which guests have you had on your podcast so far?

Our guests have been a mutual friend “Chef P” and the guitar player for the punk band 390 “Eric”.

Who would be your dream guest?

Donald Trump.

Which equipment do you use for your podcast set-up?

Audacity and a Blue Yeti mic.

What would you say is the best length of time for a podcast episode?

30-45 minutes.

Which podcasts (other than yours) would you recommend we listen to?

Any and all podcasts on The No Phony Podcast Network

Where is your podcast available to listen to?

Apple Podcasts, Google Play Music, Podcast Addict, Stitcher.

What is the future of podcasting as a creative medium?

The death of talk radio.

  1. Love these guys. The show is amazing. He calls it a light show about heavy topics which is spot on. I love a show that makes me laugh one minute and really think the next. Worth a listen!
